Wendell & Heather Garrison
Wendell and Heather joined SOAR International Ministries in January of 2020. Between the two of them, they have been involved in many ministries over the years including youth ministry, managing a Ronald McDonald House, and directing a year-round Bible camp and conference center in Colorado. They moved to Kenai to join SOAR after serving for fifteen years in British Columbia Canada as directors of a Bible camp for First Nations operated by UIM International.
Wendell and Heather have three grown children, a son in-law, and a daughter-in-law. God has walked Wendell and Heather through many trials and joys such as both experiencing the loss of their first spouses, moving to and living in another country, blending a family and now they will experience life together as empty nesters. They have been able to travel to Russia, Abkhazia, Moldova, and Ukraine with SOAR and are hoping to continue traveling to these countries as restrictions permit as well as traveling to churches locally and in the lower forty-eight to promote the ministry of SOAR. Wendell is currently the Assistant Director of SOAR and Heather helps with the many special projects SOAR coordinates throughout the year.
